Support Our Runners & Change Lives – Sunderland City Runs 2026
At the University of Sunderland, we believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of ambition. That’s why we’re taking on the Sunderland City Run 2026 to raise vital funds for the Futures Fund—a programme that provides life-changing support to our students through scholarships.
The Futures Fund helps students overcome financial obstacles, whether it’s securing an internship, covering essential living costs, or even launching their dream business. Every pound raised makes a real impact, ensuring that talent and determination—not financial hardship—shape their future.
This is where you come in.
We have 100 dedicated students, staff, and alumni lacing up their running shoes to take on the 10K or half-marathon, all in support of the Futures Fund. But they need your help!
